Our Grand Poetry Unit!

We recently finished our study on poetry. We were able to research and discuss poets like Jack Prelutsky, Shel Silverstein and Bruce Lansky. Then we looked at different forms of poetry and wrote our own Haiku, Acrostic and Cinquain poems. The students really enjoyed reading and listening to the poems we brought into the classroom and blogging some of our poems will give the students a chance to read each others poems.

This is our first endeavor into the "blogosphere"...thanks to Will Richardson and my students creativity.
